In celebration of Hawaii’s continuing furlough Fridays, here’s a taste of some extracurricular artwork being served up by the youth of today.

This is a whole new level of tailgating.

Pretty stoked on how the HD on the 5D turned out in daylight. Shot a few setups of H1 once the sun set and was disappointed on the 1/30 shutter limit. I’m sure there is some technical consideration, but my VX-1000 could shoot a longer shutter, and that was 13 years ago. Granted its “Still Grab” feature couldn’t stand up against my cell phone, but c’mon. Gotta do a bit of digging for a firmware hack.

What did we do before user forums and Google? Dewey-decimal-card-catalog-ask-the-librarian-shit-i-give-up, that’s what we did.

That’s the branch manager’s name at the Kaimuki Bank of Hawaii. Anyone else find this as hilarious as I do?
